At Sunshine Coast Sandstone, we deliver sandstone blocks across the Sunshine Coast using our own trucks and trusted local drivers.

Having our own truck means we can control delivery times, maintain stock rotation, and provide a faster, more reliable service than ordering directly from the quarry.

We offer two main delivery options depending on access, site setup, and unloading requirements.

Tipper Truck

Our 12-tonne Tipper Body Truck is ideal for smaller or harder-to-access sites where there is no machine available to unload.

Details:

  • Holds 20 x 500mm sandstone blocks

  • Holds 30 x 400mm sandstone blocks

  • Tipper length: 4.3 metres

  • External hoist for efficient unloading

Tipping off the blocks may cause chipping or loss of stone, and Sunshine Coast Sandstone does not take responsibility for any damage resulting from this method.

Truck and Dog

For larger commercial orders, we can arrange direct delivery from the quarry using a truck and quad dog combination. The total length of the truck and quad dog is approximately 18 to 20 metres, with a width of 2.5 metres.

Details:

  • Holds 50 x 500mm sandstone blocks

  • Holds 74 x 400mm sandstone blocks

  • Requires an offloading machine onsite

  • Delivered direct from the quarry

This option is suited for full bulk loads and projects requiring a higher quantity of sandstone.

ABOUT OUR DELIVERY

At Sunshine Coast Sandstone, we offer transparent delivery pricing based on trip time and unloading requirements.

Delivery times are calculated from our Forest Glen yard, and longer-distance trips can be quoted individually. Actual timeframes depend on site access, location, and unloading method.

Clients are responsible for ensuring safe access and a suitable unloading area before delivery. We do not accept responsibility for any stone damage if blocks are tipped off during unloading.

UNLOADING

Tip Off (Tipper or Truck & Quad Dog) - Included in delivery charge
Blocks are tipped off at the delivery point. This method is suitable where space and ground conditions allow.

The client provides a machine onsite equipped with a hydraulic rock grab to unload the blocks.

SCS Machine Unload (SCS MU) - $300 per load
